Marguerite trained with Ernst and Young and worked in audit and taxation before moving to Galbraith Pritchards where she has been a partner for over 15 years. She has served on the Audit Registration Committee of ICAS for six years.
Her day to day work covers all areas of accountancy from assisting small sole traders to the audit of medium sized companies, groups and charities. She has considerable taxation experience and assists clients with both compliance and tax planning including succession.
Marguerite aims to provide a personalised service and to be available to assist clients to maximise opportunities in a fast changing environment and to offer advice and assurance where required.
With over twenty-five years of experience within the profession, Alistair has an extensive knowledge of owner-managed businesses covering many sectors including agriculture. He specialises in helping both new and established businesses to transition to cloud-based solutions so that they are able to consolidate their accounting and make better use of management reporting. His significant experience in the leading software packages means he is involved in the implementation and the development of accounting solutions for clients.
Alistair’s hands on approach with his clients ensures that the firm’s services stretch far beyond the core traditional areas. He provides a proactive approach in identifying efficient business structures, identifying growth areas and cost efficiencies. In addition, his clients benefit from his specialist taxation and corporate finance advice.
John has been in the accounting profession for over 30 years. He started off in his father's business John Duthie & Co and after qualifying as a chartered accountant became a partner in the firm.
After his father passed away in 2008 John continued the business until 2018 when he joined Galbraith Pritchards.
Over the years John has gained experience in many areas and has clients in a wide range of business sectors, assisting them with accounting, tax and auditing matters.
